No Woman Diets Alone - There's Always a Man Behind Her Eating a Doughnut

I am very pleased with the way my new book, No Woman Diets Alone has shaped up. Great cover design from the remarkable Betsy Cohen, wonderful previews, and the critics have said some very nice things about the writing and the humor.

The launch date is December 1, 2011. That can change to sometime in November as was the case with my first book. The publishers do seem to get it "out there" a week or two sooner than anticipated.

How much time are you willing to invest in you?

When we think about the word 'invest' it brings to mind something that we are willing to do in order to ensure a specific outcome. We invest to bring a desired goal to fruition. Learning to invest in you is one of the most important things you can do. It tells you that you, your life, your dreams, your goals matter. Your life has value and purpose because you care enough to invest in yourself.



The importance of really living

The truth is that what you do everyday is living. In other words, life isn't out there waiting; it is happening now.  There is a trend called Mindful Living. The idea behind it is that you live mindfully in every aspect of your life. Whether you are eating an ice cream sundae or driving in your car you do it mindfully aware of what is going on. Actually this way of living has been around for thousands of years but in a "hurry-up-and-get-it-done" world it is ignored.

I have been practicing mindful living for over a week now. Sometimes it works well, and other times, when deadlines have to met or something has to be done immediately, it doesn't. But the concept is healthy and as I go forward with my life and career, living mindfully seems to make perfect sense.

Have you ever thought of writing a life script for yourself? You are the sole protaganist of the story. As the author you would have the power to create a life that suits the major needs of your main character. Like all good writers you will edit and make revisions until the script is just the way you want it to be. Make a decision to create your own life-script today.
